I have a LOUD high pitched squealing noise isolated to the right front engine area. The noise occurs regularly at 65 mph...no kidding...it is very specific that it begins at about 64 mph and won't stop until I exceed 66 mph; at times it's even occurred at 45 mph (when it's been cold). In addition, the noise is heard louder outside of the car to the extent that people have put on their brakes and looked around to see if a siren was nearby. unidentifiable sound
I've had it checked for brake issues, barring issues, loose hoses and a window seal leak. We've even checked to see if it occurs at a certain RPM but can't seem to replicate it by revving the engine. We thought we had it figured out when we found that a clamp was loose allowing air to escape/enter but no luck. I'm at my limit!! At this point, I'm concerned about getting a ticket for noise!
Has anyone else every experienced this? If so, what was the fix?
