In July 2000, the trunk seal failed resulting in substantual water leakage into the trunk. Water was hidden under trunk lining until entire wheel well was full. On October 1st the 1st tail light literally fell out. Upon inspection we found the second tail light was being held by one plastic piece. The problem is the entire tail light assembly tail lights, brake lights, back indicators, are held on by 4 or 5 bolts affixed to plastic housings. Those housings have all broken off and the entire tail light assembly is left hanging. A danger when driving since they are hanging off the back of the car, and a saafety problem should the wiring fail and no illuminate the tail lights, brake lights, and blinkers. Replacement tail lights are estimated to be $250 each and still have the plastic bolt housings which will undoubtably break again.
