This is a fairly common problem for the Bonneville's. Transmissions only make it past 100k if they've been babied. To be fair I do drive my car pretty hard, however I also drove my 89 Z24 pretty hard and that tranny lasted til 193k. If you buy a used 92-99 Bonneville, make sure you get an extended warranty.
