G6 GT

  • Manual transmission
  • 28,000 miles

This car has been driven for 13 months. The clutch suddenly went out on me, total blown with ONLY slightly over 28,000 miles! I am the only driver of the car, I have driven manual transmission vehicles for over 30 years and NEVER blown a clutch! I do not hot rod my car; but honestly even if a person is somewhat hard on one shouldn't it last for more than 28,000 miles! HELLO! I KNOW it was not my driving that burnt out this clutch!

They say the clutch blew into a million little pieces which destroyed the actuator and the heat destroyed the fly wheel! They say it is not covered under warranty because they are all wearable parts. This is bull! $2200 in repairs at my cost on a practically brand new car!

I have found 3 other similar situations on blogs, and am hoping to find more to prove that this transmission is crap! Please let me know if you know of any one with this problem.
