My taillights will not come on. It's not a fuse because if it were the the dash lights would also be out, but they're not

Electrical issue with my pontiac g6 I have had to replace my headlights bulbs multiple times due to the plugs melting I have actively seen the plug smoking and it has happened on both of my drl/low beam headlight bulbs resulting in plugs having to be replaced multiple times as well. My engine light isn't working and yet I have engine codes my service air bag light comes on at random my buckle seat belt light won't go off it stays on when I'm buckled in the driver's seat. My pressure sensor on my fuel tank has low voltage issues. When shutting the car off and opening the driver door all accessories that should of shut off are still active including the radio. The oil light is always turning on but the vehicle isn't low on oil nor does the message appear. When plugging in a car scanner the anti theft system light turns on and at random times will shut the car off. When the car scanner gets plugged in the rpms drop for a second and then go up as well. At times only one of my headlights work and I have to smack the headlight that isn't working to get it working.

Going down a busy highway at night, 1 minute the car is fine, the next minute the lights go off and then the car dies. The service air bag light came on, the oil light came on, the anti theft light came on and the battery light also. I tried to crank it, nothing. I put a jump box on the battery it Crunk. Within the last 6 months I have replaced the starter twice, the alternator twice, the fuse box twice, and the battery twice.

Brake lights stay on when the car is in drive. Cruise control will not work. There are other intermittent electrical issues that are not safety related. With the brake lights always on, other drivers don't know when I'm stopping. The problem is ongoing and has been confirmed by an independent mechanic. there were no warning lights or messages. the problem started several years ago before I owned the car.

Headlight went out. Upon changing it I noticed that wiring harness was burnt and melted. Also was driving and power steering went out driving 65 miles per hour. The cruise control got stuck. Right side making horrible noise at times. This has put me and my five year old as well as anyone driving near me at risk of dying.

Something is draining battery. I have a brand new battery in it and battery was checked out at battery warehouse. I run car and about an hour the car is dead. I had problems with this car since I bought it from Koons in Westminster Md. I even paid for warranty but every time I took it back it didn-€™t cover it. This happened a lot I got a lemon and they refused to take it back. I put soo much money in this car I could of bought a brand new car. Now I-€™m stuck with a car that does not want to run again. I purchased my 2007 pontiac g6 4 cylinder with 40k on the odometer on 5/13/2021. I notice right away it started having problem when i drove it home and it has been almost three weeks now and the problem is intermitten. This issue happens on local road city speed (25mph) and on highway doing highway speed (60mph) intermittently. When this issue occurs the steering wheel shake like crazy and it seems like it wants to pull over to the left or the right (feels like the car wants to drive itself). I would have to put some force to keep the steering wheel straight. The error code would pop up on the radio display stating "power steering". There was a recall for this issue for the electronic power steering assist. The problem is that the recall expired 6/31/2006 and my car is made on 7/2006 so the vin number does not fall in the recall list. The situation is dangerous and this issue need to be address. This recall should extend to all 2005-2010 pontiac g6 with electronic power steering not just pick and choose which year can be on the recall list. This is ridiculous because GM know this problem and they don't care enough to do what they are supposed to do..Obviously I have no dealer warranty since the vehicle is 14 years old so a recall would help since the manufacturer is 110% at fault. GM should included more years on this recall list.. The amount gm dealer wants to fix the problem is ridiculous. Please help.

The wiring connector for the drivers side low beam H11 headlight has melted and shorted 3 times now, leaving the driver without a drivers side headlighht. Vehicle was using oem part number head lights, of which never burnt out or failed and original headlight housings that it rolled off assembly with. Each time the harness has been replaced by an appropriate harness by a GM certified repair center. I have once noticed while using the remote start feature that the headlight will get really bright then appear to burn out as the vehicles engine starts. A connector with such high impedance I consider outright dangerous and a potential fire hazard. Not to mention the risk of a serious crash due to a malfunctioning headlight.

Power steering keeps making a whinning when vehicle is not turning or in motion. Having continuously fill reservoir with fluid. Causes very hard steering when turning wheels. I ran into my friends vehicle while turning around in my yard from hard to manage the steering. The doors lock and unlock on it's own at any given time. Caused me two occasions of locksmiths to unlock car. Key fob never worked since purchased.

Our Pontiac G6 hardtop convertible caught fire without any notice. The car had been previously driven at 75 mph for an hour an and a half. It sat for 5 hours and then when we were driving at 10 mph, it suddenly caught fire.

Power steering is electrical and goes off intermittently while driving recalls on this 2006-2007 G6 recall 14772 input my VIN # says my car not affected however, an major electrical power steering problem is detected in many 2007. Very serious costly problem. Will GM pay for repairs.

My vehicle's electrical power steering has gone completely out. It went out once while I was fully stopped at a red light and another time while I was going 70mph on the highway, resulting in a complete loss of steering in the vehicle. While the power steering was still working somewhat, the steering wheel would jitter/shake left and right (mainly to the left). The vehicle's power steering would also occasionally be out when the vehicle is started and would usually come back on when the vehicle is restarted a few times. The vehicle is currently not safe to drive.

I was driving my car home on Dec 11,2019 and I heard a load pop that came from under my dash. Smoke started to fill my car and I was able to pull the car over and see what was going on. Upon further investigation I had noticed all my interior lighting and components had stopped working. I was able to get home safely and when I open my trunk I noticed the fuse box located in the truck and completely burner up. Also the wires that are located under the dash has also caught fire and that is where the smoke was coming from. This is the second time something has happened to this car and both cases have been recalled in the 2006 Pontiac G6 sedans. The first case was when my power steering went out and I almost wrecked trying to get the vehicle off the road. Something needs to be done and I want this problem to be looked at. I have spoke to an attorney and he advised me to fill out a report and hopefully I can get this matter taken care of. It's not fair for an individual to buy a car and expect to be safe knowing that they have put cheap parts and faulty wiring in it. Something serious could have happened and my car could have easy fought fire. The estimate for the damage will be about $1000-$1200 dollars and I don't have that kind of money. The power steering problem cost me over $600. I want a reimbursement and I want my car fixed. There is no reason why GM can't fix it for free. It's currently sitting at my mechanics because I can't afford to get it fixed. Please take time and look into this matter I feel that I have been taken advantage of and this should have been recalled when the other cars were.

Traction control light came on while on the highway on my way home from work doing 70 miles per hour the car started to shake badly I could not stop the vehicle the brakes stopped working I had to put the car in neutral it eventually stopped I was scared for my life. I got off the highway and took the back road home car still shaking but made it home turned the car off and it stopped. Next my temperature gauge was stuck in the cold position while the car was hot and had been running for about 30 mins. Next my power steering light comes on while driving and the wheel locks up I checked for recalls it says my car doesn't have any but my car is doing everything said in the recall this car is dangerous to drive especially with two toddler kids.
