G6 GT 3.9L V6
We have a 2007 Pontiac G6 3.9L engine (bought brand-new) with 34,000 miles. The engine or exhaust makes a very very very loud, annoying, whining noise. Our local Pontiac dealer said it was "normal, that it was the tuned exhaust. I cannot accept this as being "normal" or accept that Pontiac purposefully designed this automobile to make this loud, annoying noise during acceleration. After filing a complaint with Pontiac/GM, the representative called the dealership and they told her the same thing. In the end, Pontiac/GM did nothing. They are trying to convenience me that a "two-headed" baby is normal ITS NOT NORMAL. This is a defect in the design of this vehicle. Dealerships have been scripted as to what to tell consumers. This is unacceptable. This car cost too much money. Pontiac/GM should be ashamed. FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
