Passenger occupancy air bag sensor failed and does not read if anyone is in the passenger seat and shows that there is not a passenger, which means the airbag will not deploy in an accident. This is very dangerous for passengers. This senser failed when the car was 5 years old, we had only owned it for about a year, had bought the car used. Very expensive to fix $700 or more from what th dealer said. Just stopped working one day, showing an airbag light and the fact that the airbag is set to off on the passenger seat with/without a passenger in the car.

I have a Pontiac G6 2008 that only has 83,500 miles on it. The airbag light turned on about 2 months ago and has not turned off. About a month and a half ago the traction light turned on for about 2 days and than went off. The last thing that has happened is that 2 weeks ago the brake lights came on even when I am not pressing the brake and do not turn off unless I turn off the car. And I almost forgot I also had problems with the gas cap my engine light kept on turning on so I ordered another one directly from the dealer and I still have the problem. Its like never ending.
