I reference claim ODI#10116796. I am having this same problem. My tires are rubbing on my front strut." My wife suffered a blowout on the front passenger tire. When I pulled the tire off, you could plainly see where the paint was rubbed off the strut. I then examined the tire and noticed the inner sidewall was slashed, as if by a knife, due to the strut rubbing against it. This is completely unsafe and needs to be rectified immediately! so far, my attempts at having the dealer correct the issue have been shrugged off.

Following an accident, had to replace, right front wheel and tire. Decided to replace both front tires with nitto 245-45-17, instead of O.E.M., B.F.G.kdws 245-45-17. Driving away from tire store, both tires[front], rubbing on top of struts, so badly, hard to turn steering wheel, and sidewalls on inside burning from friction, and smoking from wheelwell. Went back to tirestore, they said car unsafe to drive, and sold me 2 new front tires, yokohama 235-45-17, which fit and have adequate clearence in all driving conditions.
