While driving the overheat light illuminated, and engine died. The mechanic said it is a cracked head gaskets. I have always followed the maintenance schedule in owner manual. Oil changes every three months etc.

When engine coolant was changed vehicle began to run hot, new waterpump was installed rust was all in engine the rust had cracked the splines off of waterpump, vehicle continued to run hot;had new thermostat installed, car continued to run hot on occasion;had radiator flushedstill ran hot finally had to have entire engine and cooling system flushed to get all the rust out of system it was clogging return cooling line and obstructing the water flow.
