Dealer informed me a 75K maintenance the intake manifold gasket needed replacing due to imminent coolant damage to the engine. I am wary of dealers though mine is rated highly for honesty and had it replaced at a reputable auto repair shop. Today my car in having its 2nd intake manifold gasket installed at the dealer a mere 30K miles since the first one was replaced. I am seeing a pattern here....duh.

This was the second time to have to have the intake manifold gasket replaced in 3 years.
BUT ***Take Note**** There is a proposed class action settlement that I just filed a claim for. There was a notice posted in the Sunday paper. Go to www.DexCoolSettlement.com and see if your GM vehicle is listed for any of the three groups of vehicles. I hope this happens. There is a deadline to file so get your claim in now!!! And good luck to us all!!
