Every time I try to go after being stopped, my car wants to stall. It usually doesn't, but it acts like it. I took it for a tune up, which I thought would solve the problem, but it didn't. What else could it be? Could this be my transmission going?

Today I was running errands and my car crapped out on me as I was almost home. I turned the corner and discovered I had no power of the steering wheel. I got it to the side of the road and it was stalled with the check engine light on. I tried to start it and it would start, but it was very rough running and when I put it into gear to take off it stalled out again. I finally got it to where I could drive it a quarter mile to my house. It ran rough the whole way. It is just sitting there now. I think it has something to do with the fuel, didnt seem to be getting enough. Not really sure whats wrong. Anyone have any ideas.. it would be greatly appreciated as it is a major inconvenience. PLEASE Help! thanks
