I just replaced my battery one month ago. Last week I noticed my car took three attempts to start. The next day, it wouldn't start - it just clicked when I turned the key (starter?). At the garage, they were able to start it - of course - but also believe it's the starter. At another garage, they got the engine to turn over but it wouldn't actually start. They had to crank it many times and finally let it just rest a bit. They said the starter is fine, but my security wiring needs to be replaced. A third garage thinks it's the starter as well as another problem. After all this, I filled my gas tank, and haven't had a problem since. Now, however, my car smells strongly like gas when I accelerate or turn on the air. Any ideas???
