Grand Am SE V6
I went out to start my car for work last Friday and for no apparent reason it wouldn't start. I had to get a friend to drive me to work. I tried all weekend to start it with no luck. It acted like there was no gas in it but it had half a tank. I called to have it towed. The mechanic called me and told me that when he got it to the garage it started!!!! What a pain!!! He put it on the computer and told me that nothing was coming up to explain why it wouldn't start. I've read all of the other complaints on here and it seems that this is a common problem with Grand Ams. There was no warning that this was coming. The check engine soon light came on AFTER the fact. I am driving this car over a 1,000 miles in about 3 weeks and I am scared that this is going to happen while on the road.
