So I never realized that the fan never working on 1 and 2 was a model problem, I have just learned to live with it, adjusting the other controls, and explaining to others there is no "Happy Medium" in my car!

My 2002 Pontiac GrandAm is a lemon. I purchased the car and paid a little over $10,000. About a month after purchasing the vehicle we took it on a trip. On the way home we were on the thruway and the car just lost all power. The steering was hard but we were able to get it off the thruway and onto the shoulder of the road. It cost $100.00 to tow it to the nearest gas station. That repair cost over $3,000.00 dollars. Now my signals do not work. The part will cost over $300.00 dollars. Now my A/C does not work. The garage called and said it would cost $374.00 to make the repair. I declined to have it fixed, I am so disgusted with this car. I STILL owe about $2500.00 for it and I have to live with the signals and the A/C not working. I am ill and out of work on perm. disability. I have contacted Pontiac dealers and they couldn't care less. I do know one thing for sure, I will NEVER buy a pontiac again.,

The fans wouldn't come on in my car, so it kept overheating after about 1 mile, so I took it the dealer and they changed the fuses, relays, and wires but the problem still existed so I hot wired them straight to a switch in my car and it works great!

The switch on the dash doesn't work it only goes on 4 and 5 that's it so either you have full blast or nothing at all
