After months of fighting with the dealer about the problem (it started everytime i had it towed there) i finally narrowed it down to condensation being linked to it not starting. after a month in the shop they came back with... condensation forming under the sunroof and it was draining down onto the BCM module, shorting it out, until the moisture dried out. thats why the problem only exisited when i had to leave for work early in the morning.
