Pontiac should recall and fix this problem. Car wastes a lot of gas in each press of the gas pedal.

I was driving on the highway and the car was puttering and it just shut off. I had to move off the side of the highway and I just keep trying to start it and it would not turn over. I had someone jump it thinking it was the battier and that was not the case. I waited for a tow and it started up and I got back on the highway and drove it home. The next day I took it to the dealer for the replacement key that was recalled and since they serviced the car the ignition switch locked and the key would not turn over to start the car. I had a tow bring the car back to the dealership they called to tell me that my ignition cylinder switch was bad and needed to be replace and I was told by the service manager it would be discounted at $270.00 but when it was done and the service rep call me to tell me my car was ready she gave me a price of $377.00 I asked to speak to the service manager and was sent to his voice mail and he never return my call a whole day no return call from him. I came the next day to get the car and drove it to an appointment and it started acting up by puttering and it just stopped at a light. Moran Chevrolet Clinton Twp MI has services my car and my problem is not fix.

I was driving and the car lost it power and stalled as I pressed on the gas while at a red light it just cut off on me and would not start. My entire signal on the dash was flashing and the car would not turn over. Now I have cars blowing at me because the light is green and I am unable to move. The light changed to red again and the car started and I drove it home, the drive was a puttering and not accelerating to speed then it speeded up, when I went to make a left hand turn it stalled off again and I had to pull off the road I am so close to home and had to wait for at least 10-15 mins and start it again and drove home. Once I am home and parked it just cut off. I had my ignition cylinder fix and my replacement keys done at the dealer. I am not understanding why I am only using the key and when I go over a bump or make a turn the car shut down and the ignition switch is new and I am still have a problem. I paid $377.00 and I took it to a mechanic and the new key fall apart and the key was full of glue. So the mechanic to me to just use the key only cause something is making it stall and cut off and to take it back to the dealer. I am out of $377.00 and have no car to drive until Monday.

So far, I've replaced or cleaned the following items: Transmission, Catalytic Converter, both Oxygen sensors, spark plugs, applied fuel injector cleaner, checked for vacuum leaks, and had it diagnosed a dozen times. Here is what my car does: I press on the gas to accelerate, it hesitates, I apply more gas, RPMs increase, car does not speed up, I took foot off the gas, and it shifts into gear but the car slows down.
