I see that your dept has investigated ps problems on my vehicles brothers and cousins, my local dealer says tough ****, if GM has a problem why do you not make the fix it and reburse previous expenditures? I am just lucky my wife was not killed, the steering locked without warning. She was able to run it off the road saftly. If this is not something that needs rectifying I do not know what is. Cliffordleighton@yahoo.com GM can forget me ever buying another vehicle, its jap or Korean for me and anyone that I can convince!

I experienced a sudden and complete failure of my steering system and narrowly escaped a major accident. I contaced Pontiac customer care and they have been totally unhelpful. This resulted in a $1200 out of pocket repair. There needs to be a recall on these defective steering systems or people will be killed due to the sudden nature of the failure. I will co-operate fully with any formal NHTSA investigation if it leads to a recall.
