when i first bought this grand prix i had to replace the brain which was $550, and the catalytic converter just to help pass smog. now im having problems with the coolant light. at first the light would blink on and off and now it just stays lite. oh this is so crap.i cant even drive without the hood starting to steam,so i took it to the shop and they said that the top of the radiator was cracked. i spent $140 to have that fixed. it is now still getting hot. the temp light will come on after driving only 6 miles to my work. i pray to make it everyday. i try to cool the car down by turning on the heater but only cold air comes out. hmmmm. i dont know how much more money this car is going to nickel and dime me out of.HEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

The coolant lite is always on but the vehicle runs cool. I have had problems in the past with other vehicles where this problem turned out to be a faulty coolant sensor. Is this a known problem with this year make and model?

The low coolant light is always on. I know its due to the sensor being corroded. I think Delphi needs to come up with a fix for it. the car runs fine and doesn't over heat. I'm told if I have it fixed I could have bigger problems than what I already have. So I'm dealing with the light and watching the gage.
