(reported on)

Grand Prix GT 3800

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

Usually the problem occurs at about 5-7 minutes into the drive.(Engine briefly looses power, tack to zero and trac light on)sometimes the engine completely dies but will restart, sometimes not so easy. The codes present were both knock sensors and the crank sensor. The regular shop I go to thought the ignition module was bad but $450.00 later found that was not the problem. Now the engine is real sluggish. Next step is at the dealer. big $$$!
