Speed is a question because the car was struck from an oncoming car averaging somewhere between 35- 45 mph while I was just starting to put my foot on the gas pedal when we collieded. Neither air bags deployed in my car. I would like to send digital images of the exterior and interior of the car. Please let me know where I can E-mail or send by post office the photos. The estimated damage is about $8,000.-$10,000. In damages. The final report has not yet been filed. The car was not totaled, but should be on the fact that their is apparently a defect in the airbags. I have consulted with an automotive designer ( from Ford, previously from GM) who has viewed the photos and has stated that an investigation should be done and that the car is not unrepairable, but the defective airbags should make the car totaled.
