Traction Control and ABS Break System Lights Come on while driving and disable those items. Seems to do it when it is cold. I do not know if a sensor gets covered with slush or what. The Anti-lock brakes and traction control work right away when the car starts but it ends up not working once I am driving. It is kind of scary since you could be in a middle of a long drive when this happens. There is no telling when these will fail. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this occurs or what the solution can be?

I have had the same problem as others, just worse. When it gets cold outside my vehicle will not stay running. You turn the key, the vehicle will start, then shut off giving a "reduced engine power", "service traction system", "ABS error". I have had this in 2 winters in a row for this. I have spent hundreds of dollars and it is still doing it. Right as I speak it is stuck at work doing the same thing. Now I need to have it towed!! Grr.
