I bought the 2005 Grand Prix on a Friday night at 9PM and I came back the following Saturady at 7AM, the service rep said no problem bring it back and WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM. The first time i took it in they (Gary Lang) could not hear the squeak, I came back a second time and they finally heard the noise. They brought 2 new Grand Prixs in and they said that those 2 did not make the noise so they replaced the steering column. All was fine for about a month and then the squeeking noise came back, this time I had to take there 3 times before they had the head GM rep from our area take a ride in it and pull 2 more Grand Prixs in, but this time they told me that those 2 made the noise and basically they were not going to do anything about it. I contacted the GM hot line and lodged a complaint but of course a week later they called me back and said they could not do anything, but bcause they stand behind their product they are going to send me a letter in writing that the steering column and anything to do with it will be covered for 60000 miles or 6 years. end of conversation. Now I have called the dealer back as of 11AM 05/30/05
