Montana EXT 3.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

Stay at home mother called and said van was leaking antifreeze.

Took the Montana to the dealer, The service manager was very helpful, He inspected the car and said, A/C condenser very costly 800 bones. Come on man 50,000 miles living in Ohio a/c only runs two months out the year. So i guess 800 $ not bad,
But then he said by the way, You should think about replacing the intake manifold gasket 800 to 950,
So after taxes about 2000$ 50,000 miles?

I see why the imports are kicking gm's ass,
Looks like gm has had intake manifold problems for 8 years. They have not corrected this issue. I could fix one of the issues. But two. Never again will i purchase a gm vechicle.
