I had the tranny flushed and that has helped. I still get a hesitation as it shifts from first to second.

Transmission slipping. Started in 2005 but was barely noticeable when I purchased the vehicle. Has been progressing to the point when I think it will die at any time. I talked with a transmission mechanic and he says the transmission will need to be rebuilt or replaced. Rebuilt is about $2,600. Not sure if I am going to do this as the van is already 10 years old.

There a nice looking van but GM has just had so many problems with them. Sometimes while taking off your car will sit in place and shake while your transmission tries to catch. When it finally does it makes a big thud and jolts forward. awful feeling, I know lots of people who have this problem
