problem #2

Sunbird SE 3.1 V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

Trip one, car starting skipping briefly; trip two the same thing happened; and trip 3 skipping started and could barely pull a hill and coasted home. This Sunbird Convertible only started once briefly to go dead and remain dead. It cranks really well but no fire in spark plugs. A crank sensor was replaced to no avail.

Could this be an ignition module and how hard to install? This has been a really good car and was running like a Harley D. before all of a sudden!
