Helpful Websites About 1993 Pontiac Sunbird temperature gauge always in red zone

My temperature gauge is always in the "red zone". My "check engine" light has come on for the first time in a year (since I've owned the car), and when I turn the car off, it smells like burnt rubber near the hood of my car. This sh*tty car is costing me a fortune... every time I turn around it's costing me money and I hate it.

I had to replace the head, this was 3 months ago, now my tempature gauge is reading within the norm but closer to the red area again. This morning I was driving to work and it made a buzzing sound, like an alarm clock. I don't know what that means, I'm sure I'll find out.
