Drivers side headlight will not let up but passenger side will.Checked motor to see if it was bad but it wasn't so what can it be?

I was able to fix the problem which also broke the light housing. Had to take the housing apart and re-drill fasteners. A real pain in the ass. The adjuster only cost 2-3.00. If I had taken it to the garage it would have cost me several hundred dollars to replace the housing on the light.
