2500 Big Horn 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,000 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have a severe death wobble in the front end of the truck. So far I have spent close to 1000 in upgrades that did not do a thing to improve the wobble. Track Bar, Steering stabilizer and a staring box stabilizer mount. I went into Dodge and they recognized the problem but told me there was nothing they could do. My truck did not have a history of the Death Wobble and there was no recall. I'm ready to get rid of the truck and lose money on it because my safety is more important to me. Dodge has a bad product and won't stand behind it. This is my 3rd Dodge and unless fixed I will be buying a different brand truck in the future. The truck only has 41,000 miles and is a 2012 . :(

2500 SLT Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 20,000 miles

The death wobble has occurred four times and is very scary. Took truck to Carl Burger Dodge where I bought the truck from a year ago and they didn't really have any idea how to fix. They appeased me with new steering stabilizer and that didn't fix anything. I installed BD Desiel stabilizer bar and that made it a little better but the violent wobble is still there. If anybody has a for sure fix, I would love to hear it. I have another appoint at Dodge Dealer January 12.

2500 SLT Diesel 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,600 miles

I BOUGHT THIS 2012 DODGE RAM NEW AT 42000 MILES I WAS ON MY WAY THE DODGE DEALER WITH MY GRANDSON FOR WARRANTY WORK. WE CROSSED A SET OF RAILROAD TRACKS ON A SECONDARY HIGHWAY. WE WERE DOING AROUND 60 WE/HEN THE VEHICLE STARTED WOBBLING SO BAD THAT IT THREW EVERYTHING OFF THE DASH AND CENTER CONSOLE AND EVERYTHING OFF THE BACK SEAT. I TOLD THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT IT THEY CHECKED EVERYTHING OUT AND COULD ONLY COME UP WITH A LEAKING AXLE SEALS WHICH THEY DID NOT HAVE TIME TO FIX. I WORK IN THE NORTH DAKOTA OIL FIELDS 1150 MILES AWAY I HAVE TO HAVE THIS VEHICLE SO I TOOK IT TO A DEALER 100 MILES A HE COULDNT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT EITHER INCLUDING THE AXLE SEALS SO HE CHARGED ME 96.30 AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM FOR THE 1150 MILE TRIP OVER TO NORTH DAKOTA THE TRIP BACK WAS A DIFFERENT STORY MONTANA RAISED THE SPEED LIMIT TO 80 MPH ON THE FREEWAY AT SLIGHTLY OVER THE PICKUP STARTED WOBBLING SO BAD I DID NOT NO IF I WAS GOING TO SLOW DOWN ENOUGH TO KEEP FROM HITTTING THE GAURD RAIL OR GO OFF THE ROAD IT DID THIS THREE MORE TIMES BEFORE I COMPLETED THE 1150 MILE RETURN TRIP. THINGS HAPPEN I AGREE BUT TO NO THERE IS A GREAT SAFETY PROBLEM AND SAY NOTHING IS WRONG.IFN I HAD BEEN PASSING A SEMI AT THE TIME THIS PICKUP DID THIS THERE A PRETTY GOOD CHANCE MY WIFE WOULD BE WRITTING THIS COMPLAINT NOT TO MANY TIMES WILL YOU SEE PEOPLE SERVIVE AN 80 MPH CRASH WITH A TRUCK. I CALLED DODGE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN I FOUND OUT THIS WAS MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM WITH THOUSANDS IF NOT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DODGE RAMS I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS PROBABLY A WORE TIRE OR OUT OF ALIGNMENT WHAT A JOKE THE THING SHOOK SO VIOLENTLY THAT THE DAMN DOOR IS STARTING TO CATCH ON THE FENDER.
