I thought the problem with stalling, loss of acceleration etc was only due to the EGR valve that was bad. Apparently the spark plug wires needed to be replaced as well. They were only $25 CDN to replace. The EGR valve had to come from the dealership at a cost of $215 CDN plus an hour labour to install it.
