I bought my car June 2006, and started having problems by December. I had to put 2 quarts of oil in it every 5 days to keep it running, and sometimes it would still sputter out on the road. October 2007 I road tripped 150 miles north, and 15 minutes into the trip my car started trying to die on me, even though I had high performance oil stocked in it. In order to make it to my destination, I had to put my car in neutral everytime I slowed down past 40mph. When I finally parked, it died. I took it into the shop and they said that I actually had a cylinder that wasn't even firing at all. I got my engine replaced. The mechanics test drove my car for 2 days, and then called me saying that it was running beautifully, but suddenly a fuse blew and the electrical went out and my car died on them after they replaced my engine. Now they have to find the cause of this blown fuse and fix it. My car's been in the shop for a month, and I'm still 150 miles north of home. Can someone tell me why my car blew a fuse AFTER they replaced my engine?? Did they accidentally clip a wire??
