The passenger presence sensor light has been on for awhile. It had been 'fixed' once before when the vehicle was under warranty. The wiring for the HVAC blower motor melted at the connection to the resistor pack that controls the blower motor speed. You could smell melting plastic. Luckily this did not start the wiring harness on fire as the fuse for the circuit did not open.
