The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Sky. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired per an unknown recall regarding the ignition, but the repair was insufficient. The contact stated that the key became stuck in the ignition. The contact would have to place the vehicle in reverse and wait 45 minutes to an hour before the key could be removed. As a result, the vehicle battery was drained of power. The contact purchased the vehicle from beau townsend Ford (102 w national road, vandalia, Ohio, (937) 898-5841) who performed the initial recall repair. The dealer stated that the recall repair was completed prior to the contact purchasing the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 148,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Sky. The contact stated that while driving at 30 mph, the entire instrument panel illuminated and stated that the engine lost power. The check engine warning light was also illuminated. The vehicle restarted after two attempts. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the ignition needed to be repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14V047000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 22,500.

The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Sky. The contact received the NHTSA recall notification related to campaign number 14V047000 (air bags, electrical system). The contact stated that the vehicle was not repaired within a reasonable amount of time. The dealer advised the contact that the parts were not available. There were no failures at this time. The manufacturer was not notified of the delay....updated 09-05-14 the vehicle was repaired. Updated 9/15/2014
