We were pulling in to the Kroger parking lot when the right front wheel seized. We called AAA (thank God for them!) and had the car towed home. We thought perhaps it was the wheel bearing. On taking off the wheel, my husband, who is a mechanic, found the brake pad broken in two pieces, with one piece wedged between the caliper and the rotor. New pads, springs and kit fixed the problem.

HOWEVER: If this had occurred on the freeway, traveling at 70 MPH, it may have caused a ROLLOVER and KILLED both of us! ALSO see SECOND COMPLAINT! -- fuel line rupture.
