Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

"floating around" floor mat problem on my 2008 Subaru Forester. I bought my Forester in December of 2007. Within a couple of weeks the mats started to slide around the floor and have bunched-up under the pedal cluster. I am careful to reposition them. What happened is that the hundreds of rubber tabs on the bottom of the 4 mats started to fall off. This is on all four mats. Subaru told me this was not covered by warranty. I read about a similar problem with Toyota and I understand that Toyota has an ownership interest in Subaru. Perhaps they use the same vendor to supply floor mates in the usa. I know this is dangerous. My car is still under the new car warranty, so I am not looking for something for nothing. My bet is others have this problem too. Like I said it affects all four mats, and my back seats are rarely used, so it must be the mats. My car has 22,000 miles. Thank you
