Noticed the temperature gauge starting to creep gradually under strenuous driving conditions, such as uphill. Then this started to happen under normal conditions. The temperature gauge never actually made it to the red, but about 80% there or so.

Originally, the cause was thought to be a failed radiator, since it had a pinhole in it making it lose coolant. However, the issue persisted after replacing the radiator. Garage claims the head gaskets need to be replaced. Didn't go through with the real fix myself, tried using some of that stop head gasket leak stuff that you pour into the radiator instead. Only driven the car a few times since using the stop leak, and it hasn't heated up at all any of the times. No telling how long that stuff is actually good for, though.
