When a company puts forth information that a car is fast and safe, they need to install a transmission that will hold up to the power. There have been 10 people in my area alone that cannot get them to "make good on the transmission" that is not able to handle the rigors of the engine they have. This is pitiful. I want everyone to "beware" the dealer that smiles while selling you this "piece" that he won't take care of.

My son bought a new 2006 Impreza WRX and the transmission went out. The dealer said it was abuse and won't cover it. He's only had the car 2 months. I'm reading how Subara Impreza has problems all over the country with the Impreza transmission and Subaru refuses to cover it. Does anyone know a solution? They have you write and call Subaru of America, but they are not the least bit helpful. How does Subaru get away with this? Any way to get them to pay? The cars still in the shop torn apart with them having the nerve to charge $600. to tear it apart.
