Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

NHTSA — Engine And Engine Cooling: Engine: Other Fuel Types: Turbo-Charger Problems Notes: A relatively dependable vehicle that handles well in bad weather, but increasing concerns about turbo failure in the GT probably means you should look elsewhere if you want a car with a little pep in its step.

2005 Subaru Legacy VIN# (last 8)54327514. Car is under warranty but Subaru is refusing to fix the turbo. Subaru has a bulletin # 02-103-07 out about the problem with turbo's oil starvation due to factory oil feed banjo bolt. I also used amsoil oil and they indicated that voids the warranty. The law pass by congress "magnuson-moss act" said that Subaru can't void the warranty.
