I always use the cruise control when going to and from work on the highway. I exited the highway into a parking lot. Pressed on the gas to turn into a parking space and the cruise kicked in causing me to go over a parking stone and almost over a wall with a 3 foot drop into traffic. Needless to say the undercarriage of tha car is a wreck and the person walking on the sidewalk I almost hit was shaken...
