Ok, we bought this 1995 4Runner used at 174,000 miles. The hood was in good shape still but the roof was TOTALLY faded, it was horrible. You don't really notice the roof but the hood...hahahhahahahahaaaa...after driving it about 3 months the whole hood would peel clear film stuff, which I am guessing is the clear coat. By the time we had it 2 years the whole entire hood had lost the clear coat. You would think that Toyota selling this damn 4Runner off the lot at around $25,000 would have at least painted it right, with double clear coat on the roof and hood. HOW cheap can they get!!!??? 25k is a lot of money back in 1995, at least people should get their money's worth.
