Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2013 Toyota 4Runner Owner Comments

4Runner 6-cyl

  • 300 miles

I currently have 2000 miles on a 2013 Toyota 4 runner SR5 (purchased new). In the first 30 days of city and freeway driving, it averaged 14.5 mpg to 15.6 mpg. In the following months (3.5 total), it averaged 15.4 to an occasional 16.6 mpg. A far cry from the claimed "17 city, 19 combined, 22 hwy). A Toyota mechanic tested the vehicle (10 miles) and claimed the vehicle's average is 19.5 mpg per their Toyota misrepresenting the fuel consumption of the 4 runner" if so, should 4 runners owners be compensated"
