Braking system fade occurred immediately upon braking resulting in increased stopping distance and woman's Santa fe being struck. Pavement was dry with Heavy Traffic. It could have been Much Worse!!!! Brakes returned to normal by the time the Police Activity was finished. Drove 130 miles back to Maynard, MA. Here 1999 Camry kept it's reputations and got me home flawlessly. Accident happened in Torrington CT.
