My 2000 Toyota Camry 4 door sedan was parked in a nature park parking lot at 4:30 P.M. with the driver's side windows facing the sun, West. Within thirty minutes, the two windows shattered to pieces. Police were called, nothing taken or disturbed inside vehicle. Police determined no foul play and windows shattered due to heat/defects. Police Agency is broward county sheriff's office, broward county, Florida, dania beach branch, officer demerritte #11724, report number DN08-07-01142. Glass debris cleaned up and windows replaced at owner's expense on July 14, 2008 at expse for both windows of $365 including tinting, by alpha window and glass 3201 ne 2nd ave. Oakland park, Florida. Alpha personnel said they receive a lot of Toyota heat breakage window work.
