Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Camry 4-cyl

Check engine light went on. Dealer replaced valve and vacuum switch. Eleven months later the same thing happened, only this time it was another valve and the sop canister. We went on a Toyota Camry chat line and discovered many many other owners with the identical problem. The vehicle had only 28000 mis. With the first repair and 34,000 with the second and larger repair. It sounds like this is a problem with a large number of Camry. Should there be a recall?

I am not getting the miles per gallon expected. I have a 4 cylinder and I am only getting 16-19 miles per gallon in the city, and around 27-28 highway. I got better gas mileage with my 6 cylinder intrigue.
