Both front headlamp lenses have film buildup inside the projector housing causing headlight low beam to be dull and not enough output lumens. Unable to clean. Requiring replacement headlights. Driving at night was almost impossible! very expensive to replace $1318.68. Dealership recommended that I call national customer service but they did not offer any financial help even though this is probably a design flaw. There are lots of other complaints online about same issues with Camry,

The head lights on high beam have gone out while driving, low beam works but very scary driving and lights just go out. Now only low beam works just wondering when they might go out while driving. Did some investigating to see how to fix and noticed that I am far from being alone on this one. When is someone going to step up and make Toyota make this right with owners. Since the only fix seams to be replacing whole head light assembly at $2400 a pair !!! because replacing bulb will just blow out again and again. Ran my VIN number no current recall this is a bunch of bull.

Light from headlights is inadequate. It seems to be half cut off at the top of the beam so that when the vehicle goes down hill the light only goes out about 20 feet and is totally impossible to see the road. I have to use the high beams all the time if traveling anyplace where there are hills. This is an ongoing problem every since I got the Toyota Camry. In the Lexus they have made is the headlights move to compensate for this problem so Toyota must be aware of it but isn't acknowledging it when we called the dealer. No fix is offered and the car is unsafe to drive at night in hilly terrain.

I was stopped at a stop light behind a 2010 Toyota Camry. The led brake lights are so intense on that car that my retina's were red saturated. When the stoplight turned green I looked at my dash and the yellow maintenance light appeared green. This color saturation lasted a least 1 minute. This means that a yellow stop light would appear green and that a green light would appear yellow. There is no reason for this level of intensity such that my retina is saturated while stopped 5 feet behind a car in front of me.

2/5/2010 on August 10, 2009 we purchased a new 2010 Toyota Camry. On the way home 9:00 P. M. we noticed that the headlights while driving down hills gave us 4ft. Of visibility. Also turning right or left, at right angles we had limited visibility. We notified the dealer immediately by phone and a letter on 8/11/09. The next day we drove to the dealership and again we notified the dealer. The salesman told us to take it in to the service department. On 8/13/09 @ 9:00 am, my wife took the Camry to the service department. The mechanic told her that he only had slight adjustment, and that he adjusted the lights. Upon driving it again at night we still had the problem. We immediately called Toyota customer experience center. They gave us a case number, and he told us to contact our dealer again. On August 25, 2009, at 11:30 am we had an appointment to go back to the dealership. We were told that they were going to try and install sylvania brighter bulbs but Toyota would allow them. Eventually the dealership told us the headlights were set to Toyota company specs and there was nothing more that they could do. (mileage in 188 mileage out 247 at kings Toyota on 8/25/09). We have a total of 2,800 miles on our Camry as of today. We are afraid to drive it after it gets dark. Toyota told us there is nothing more that they can do. They told us in is up to company specs.

Headlight problem - when driving the headlights do not adequately light up the left and right side of the road. When making a turn to the left or right you are blindsided...very dangerous.

2010 Camry le when you are driving at night and you go over even a slight drip in the road/hill the front headlights only light up the road for approx 15 feet. Once you get on a level road the light appear to perform properly.
