The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Camry hybrid. The contact stated that the brake pedal failed to respond, while driving at 30 mph. The vehicle had to be driven on a dirt road in order for it to come to D a stop. All warning indicators illuminated when the failure occurred. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed as the actuator needed to be replaced and the sensor needed to be reprogrammed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.
