First broken door lock actuator was repaired while under warranty (front passenger side), 2nd (rear right passenger side) broke a year ago, even jams sometimes while trying manually to lock, so I don't allow anyone to open that door in case!!! Then the 3rd happened this weekend. Each time you can hear a "spring" sound that's not right. My driver side door will work once in a while but then today wouldn't lock manually, I had to keep unlocking with my keyless device, then finally was able to manually lock without forcing. Am told it's $220 or so for the part, then $78/hour, could be 2 hours or so per door. Also told this is UNHEARD OF....3??? Then why tell me is it unheard of? I bet the entire batch of actuators on that model in that particular batch of cars was faulty and there have to be some others out there. Am waiting on my rear left passenger door to go! I do not like driving and not knowing if my rear doors are locking or not and having to check each time but I don't have almost $1,000 to spend on stupid door locks!
