Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

"takata recall" what is Toyota waiting for to get these airbags replaced" lives will be lost if any of these airbags explode in an accident. I am worried that my air bag might be a bad one. How can I get Toyota to replace it before it's too late? Toyota dealer will not help and says the repair is not ready? this is a 2006 model and last time I checked it is almost the year 2016. Recall fix not ready??"

I received an airbag recall in June of this year with directions to limit seating in the car until the parts are available. I called Toyota regarding status today (November 16) and was told there was no solution to the lack of replacement parts (airbag). I was given a case number by Toyota: 1511160385. This is absurd for a safety related problem to go on for six months.
