"takata recall". I have been contacting mac haik Toyota (2112 gulf fwy S, houston) for 5 months trying to schedule the repairs as outlined by the airbag recall. The total 12 times that I have called, the dealership has informed me they are out of the parts necessary for the repairs. It is my belief that this dealership has no intention of complying with the recall in any sort of timely fashion, if at all.

Takata recall I believe Toyota and their dealer, koons Toyota of arlington, va, have failed to remedy the defect within a reasonable time. I have waited for over 2 months to have the defect remedied. The Toyota customer experience center was completely unhelpful and could not tell me where I could obtain a replacment. Was driving when airbag light on dash came on, have checked fuses, cleaned all electrical leads and it remains on, been on six months now. Airbag recall fixed today, told dealer to look at light. Once fixed dealer said light still on because the steering spring coil in the steering column has cut something that turns the airbag light on, cost to fix $500.
