I'm going to call Toyota USA now and see what they have to say.

Update from Apr 18, 2016: The radio malfunctions on my 2015 Toyota Prius c. Sporadically the touch screen freezes and won't work. Plus it keeps beeping and flipping from radio channel to bluetooth setting and back without me pressing anything. At the 5000 mile ToyotaCare check-up, the dealer couldn't replicate the problem, I called Toyota USA and opened a file. The Toyota USA customer representative told me that if the problem happened again, to drive the car right away to any dealership and have the problem verified and diagnosed.
Last week the radio malfunctioned again and I drove to the dealer. They verified the problem. They contacted Toyota USA and Toyota USA has agreed to replace (under the warranty) the radio on the car.
The dealer has ordered the new radio. I will update this site once the repair is completed.
