Toyota dealership says only new transmission. $5,400. No talk about ECM had an extended warranty for 2001-2003. Many people also report 2004-2005. My car was made in Sept. 2004. Send email of everything to CEO of Toyota in Japan. No answer, probably wrong email address.
Sending it to a Circuit Board Medics that has worked on lots of these. Toyota dealership knew nothing and was to get back to me.....nothing as of 20 days. New transmission but no new ECM. 3rd Toyota Land Cruiser, Camery Rav4---my daughter wanted.
I am over Toyota....expense but use to be worth it for a great product.
NO LONGER A GREAT PRODUCT.
